Someone who is creative, good at coming up with ideas — willing to take an idea and run with it without a lot of micro-managing, has tons of enthusiasm for what they are doing and is always looking for what we can do next. We need someone who has a desire to learn and be part of a team but can think outside the box and help brainstorm new ideas. Also, we need someone who is communicative and knows how to follow up on assignments when necessary.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Focus of the position includes but is not limited to the Following Responsibilities)

1) Managing Social Media Accounts:

Management of social media accounts (Facebook/ Twitter/ YouTube/ LinkedIn, Flickr, Tumblr, Instagram, etc), daily to engage users, increase user retention as well as expand membership & brand recognition.

Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.

3) Partnerships Management and Lead Generation:

This entails maintaining current partnerships (stylists, customers, affiliates, and celebrity endorsements), creating cross-publicity for us, and acquiring future partnerships. This means searching for and monitoring the most popular blogs/bloggers, hairstylists, fashion gurus, makeup artists, and celebrities – contacting them to collaborate.

You will also have to search around for similar blogs and websites that discuss hair & beauty and engage in the conversation. Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media.

4) Content and Blog Manager:

Editing content creators’ articles for Blogs and websites to ensure proper grammar, relativity, and appropriate SEO formatting.

5) Daily/Monthly Sales Strategy Tracking:

Create and implement a sales strategy and tracking system where daily online sales are tracked to determine which sales are derived from partnerships, customers, online, and storefronts. Design a monthly report indicating partnership sales for each month.

6) Brand Reputation Management:

Actively managing the references, conversations, and feedback of the business through online sources as well as in the offline environment and creating a good defense as well as an attack strategy. Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand.

7) Project Management:

Work on behalf of our CEO in some of her work which includes but is not limited to managing ongoing PR and marketing projects. For example, reviewing and corresponding with our video editor, photographers, photo editor, web developer, article writers, PR firm, and marketing partners.

Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy.

8) Customer Service:

The preferred candidate should have good knowledge of entrepreneurship in general and a good zeal to succeed! The preferred candidate will be an integral part of the organization. This means you will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s strategic direction and growth with high productivity and optimism about meeting future goals.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Phase One – Website and Branding

Web Development: The website is brand new and has no content. The first stage will be for you to create all the necessary content for the organization’s website and publication including the mission statement and assist in drafting the operational plan!
Branding and SEO: Conduct keyword in-depth research on industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) in order to develop original content.
Content Creation and Distribution: Deliver unique quality SEO-rich writing pieces that still appeal to our audiences, attract readers and boost organization awareness throughout social media and web platforms.
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

Phase Two – Organisation Development and Public Relations:

Daily Social media posts on all platforms.
Promoting the organization’s blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms in the Entrepreneur field, newspapers, magazines, and television.
Write a convincing pitching template to promote our cause and find high-profile celebrities and public figures that align with our values and mission.
Blogger outreach to garner backlinks but following editorial guidelines when creating content.
Analyzing performance indicators and web traffic and determining the effectiveness of created content. Suggest actions to be taken at any time to ensure search engine optimization.
Creating blog content and a periodic newsletter as well as a press release.
Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

QUALIFICATION:

First degree (business background) from a tertiary institution with Publishing and Digital Marketing, Computer science, or Mass Communication.
Digital Marketing Skills.
At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of the small business environment.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills in English.
Proven Content Writing Experience and familiarity with business development or related field.
Exceptional writing, research using multiple sources, and communication skills.
Evidence of content that has been published on the web.
Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (WordPress), social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords, and a basic understanding of HTML.
Familiarity with web publications.
An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
Having graphics/ infographics, and programming knowledge will be an advantage but not required.

POSITION: FULL-TIME (40 hours minimum)

TYPE: REMOTE (with remote timesheet) for time being. Hybrid will be required as the organization grows with regional headquarter in Lagos.

WORKING DAYS: Mondays to Fridays (might be required to work weekends once in a while for a few hrs (2 to 3)

WORKING HOURS: (After website launch): 2x a week 8 am to 5 pm Nigeria time and 3x a week 7 am to 4 pm EST (1 pm to 10 pm Nigeria (WAT) time. )

At least 3 years experience in digital marketing with some experience in managing a Marketing Team.
Have working knowledge of Advertising serving tools.

Has worked in a B2C business previously. Work experience that covers extensive field/BTL marketing, product launch, strong corporate comms experience, brand management, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Website and Social Media Content Creation, Optimization, and Strategy:

PR – Build ONYC International and subsidiary brands’ reputation, visibility, and Top of Mind Awareness with the press, newsletters, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns.
Editorial Calendar: Leverage the right tools to manage your content. Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns and social media content calendars.
Content Management: Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content for websites, blogs, and various social media channels and ads.
SEO: Optimize content for the website and social networking channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc. (Solid experience in building active followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram).
Social Media Management: Manage and oversee all the company’s social media marketing and advertising plan, content, and campaigns.

Analyze Reports: Track the website traffic flow and provide internal reports regularly which include the SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
Cultivation of leads and sales.
Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.

Brand Reputation/ Marketing / Advertising Strategy:

Manage Company perception and brand equity.
Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content (ie: employee training, recognition, and rewards for participation in the company’s marketing and online review building)

Marketing Strategy – Create and execute broad grassroots marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotions, for ONYC International. with the aim of driving sales and improving product & brand knowledge. And be responsible for understanding the business model, the company’s services, products, and solutions, positioning them favorably before target audience markets.

Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, database management, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
Own, evangelize and drive cohesiveness of key brand messages and USPs within field teams.
Development of brand awareness and online reputation including brainstorming new and creative growth strategies.
Event Strategy – Create a focused event participation plan and strategy (online and offline) to raise the profile of ONYC International and to reach its target audience, customers & desired partnerships.
Customer Segmentation – Define customer segments, needs, and value propositions. Value Proposition to Customers -Translate ONYC International’s offering into relatable value propositions for customers to drive uptake and build loyalty. Position ONYC International as the gateway to valuable data for consumers at the bottom of the pyramid stratum.
Understand metrics and KPIs of accounts and continually suggest optimizations to improve campaign performance.
Review campaigns and evaluate results. and analyze data to determine ROI from marketing initiatives and recommend changes, if needed to drive business growth.
Recruit and supervise the team that oversees the lead generation process, from both online and offline channels.
Segment Marketing: Marketing Strategies for Product Marketing, Community Relations. Regional Marketing.
Oversee Budget – Develop and oversee marketing budget and resource management to ensure optimal ROI on marketing spending.
Traditional and Digital Media – Be an expert in traditional and digital marketing strategies that drive awareness and create leads

SALARY

₦150,000 to ₦200,000 a month (paid at 28 days intervals so you will actually get 13 months in a year!)

REFUNDS & RETURNS
We honor returns for refund or store credit. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. All returns and exchanges require a pre-authorized RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Items returned without an RMA are void.

Items must be unused, untampered, and in original condition, including all packaging, pouches, boxes, tags, and our monogram gold sticker. Once tags, stickers, or seals are removed or tampered with, the item is 100% void for return or exchange. Please do not install, alter, or modify the product if you have concerns, as tampered items cannot be restocked.

Store credit does not expire and may be used on all items, including sale and clearance items.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Final sale (clearance) items, custom orders, accessories, and hair care products are non-returnable.

PAYMENT METHOD RESTRICTIONS
Payments made via Venmo, Cash App, or Bank Transfer are non-refundable due to security reasons and will be issued store credit only, if eligible.

BUY NOW, PAY LATER (BNPL)
BNPL options are provided by third-party providers and are subject to their approval, terms, fees, and payment schedules. ONYC® Hair is not the lender. BNPL orders follow the same return eligibility rules as all other orders and do not override hygiene, tampering, or final-sale restrictions.

If a return or partial return is approved for a BNPL order, the value of the returned item will be refunded to the BNPL provider to adjust the outstanding balance. BNPL transaction fees (7%) are non-refundable. Customers remain responsible for BNPL payments until the provider completes the adjustment.

Store credit may be issued only at the customer’s request and does not replace a BNPL refund unless the customer expressly agrees that BNPL installment payments will continue unchanged.

FEES & EXCLUSIONS
Shipping fees, insurance fees, and transaction fees (3% credit card or 7% BNPL) are non-refundable and non-creditable. If your order qualified for free shipping and returned items reduce the order below $300 (USA) or $350 (Canada), standard shipping and insurance fees will be deducted.

NO RESTOCKING FEE
We do not charge a restocking fee for items returned in perfect condition. A restocking fee may apply if packaging (boxes, pouches) is missing or damaged.

Your continued participation in the mobile messaging program after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Disputes Related to Mobile Messaging: Any dispute, claim, or controversy related to the SMS/MMS mobile messaging program shall be handled in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section of these ONYC® Terms & Conditions.

Color Display

ONYC International attempts to display product images shown on the site as accurately as possible. We will make every effort to match each order to your exact specifications but keep in mind that the conditions that these photos were taken were under studio lighting and colors will also vary from monitor to monitor. Use the color chart as a general guide, but not a literal one.

Please ensure to read the “details” tab on the individual product page. Because these two colors are natural hair colors, each individual piece comes from a separate donor we cannot guarantee the exact hair color shade. In some cases, we may have natural lighter or darker pieces that are available upon request but not guaranteed. Please be forewarned, a slight color variation will not be a reason to request an exchange. You may add in a comment session upon checkout with your natural color preference and we will do our best to meet your request based on the inventory on hand.

Texture Display

Due to the fact that ONYC International offers 100% virgin cuticle human hair which is real hair from a real donor, each pouch comes from a separate donor we cannot guarantee exact hair texture. Even with our processed Mongolian line, the only process done on it is to change the curl pattern. This means that the hair will maintain its natural characteristics; some hair comes naturally silkier, coarser, dull, shinier, thicker, or thinner in diameter. Each characteristic affects the way the hair behaves/reacts to weather and product. This is the dynamic of virgin hair and is beyond our control. Depending on the batch you receive, you will consult your professional stylist and adapt to the maintenance routine for that type of hair.

We have tried our best to categorize the texture based on the curl pattern; the images provided are guidelines only and not a direct literal one. We cannot guarantee a coarser, silkier, or curlier batch. A slight texture variation will not be a reason to request an exchange.

Image Display

The images shown on the site must be used as a general guide, but not a literal one. Due to the dynamic of real hair, the way you style or treat the hair will affect the actually finished look. Keep in mind that the conditions that these photos were taken were under studio lighting and colors, textures, and sizes will also vary from monitor to monitor. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Product availability and prices are subject to change without any notice. Occasionally there may be information on the ONYC International website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and ONYC International reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your card has already been charged, we will contact you with an option to cancel or process your order. If you wish to process the order, you will pay the difference if less payment is captured, or receive a refund if more payment is captured. If you cancel, ONYC International will issue a credit to your card; your bank’s policy dictates when funds appear.

Sales Tax Policy

ONYC International collects and remits sales tax as required by U.S. law. 6% Maryland Sales Tax applies to all orders shipped to the state of Maryland. Sales taxes are based on the full price.

Payment Option/ Terms

Currently, we accept (1) all major credit cards (2) Venmo/ CashApp/ Zelle (3) Bank Wire transfers. Terms of payment are always 100% upfront. As soon as you place an order online via the credit card option, note that your credit card will be charged immediately. WE TAKE CREDIT CARD FRAUD SERIOUSLY. All Credit card fraud and theft of our merchandise will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

To process orders going to a different address other than your billing address MUST require you to fill out a credit card authorization form and verify your credit card. This may include submitting a completed credit card authorization form and limited supporting documentation through a secure method approved by ONYC International. We do not request or retain card verification codes after authorization and may require sensitive payment details to be masked where appropriate. Please review more details of our PAYMENT OPTION.

Promotional Materials

Coupon Code: Promotional Codes are debited at the time an order is placed. Coupons will automatically be redeemed to purchase totals, up to the total purchase amount. Coupons must be used before their noted expiration date, additional terms of the coupon, and within a single transaction. Coupon cannot be combined with the additional offer; it is void if you cancel or return your purchase.

Product Availability

Our entire inventory is online and most times will be accurate. If for any reason—including a system error—your product is out of stock or unavailable, or if we are unable to fulfill your order, we will contact you immediately to offer a substitution or a refund if a substitute is not acceptable.

Order Validating/Acceptance/Confirmation

Your receipt of electronic or other forms of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The ONYC International Website reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Although our system charges you immediately after placing your order, this is NOT a guarantee that we will immediately ship out your order. After you place an order using our shopping cart, we will check the information you give us for validity by verifying your method of payment and shipping address; we reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors. If we reject your order, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address provided and process a refund.

Order Processing

We require at least 48hrs to process a confirmed order. By confirmed orders, we mean orders that have passed our payment and shipping terms. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. All orders received before 2:00 pm are processed as next-business-day orders. Orders placed over the weekend will be considered the next business day order. Once shipped, orders arrive within the estimated timeframe selected on your SHIPPING OPTION checkout. For your protection, some orders may require a signature confirmation upon receiving them.

Order Changes/Cancellation

You CANNOT cancel your order once placed. We will honor a mild order change prior to shipment up until the status changes to “In progress”. Shop with confidence at ONYC® Hair and initiate a return for a refund or store credit! Full terms are located on the checkout page! Note that no exchange will be issued on packages returned due to a bad address, refused upon delivery, and unclaimed.

Order Limitations/ Limited Quantities

ONYC International, at its own discretion, limits or cancels quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by the previously ordered customer, using the same ONYC International Website account, the same credit card, and orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event we make a change to an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail address you registered with on our site. If we reject your order, we will generally attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you registered with on our site.

International Order

At this time, if your billing address is an address other than the USA, we ONLY accept Venmo App, Cash App OR Wire Transfer for ALL orders. Just check out via Wire Transfer. There will be an additional $20 fee for International Bank Wire Transfer. Please review our INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING for additional information.

Shipping/ Order Tracking

All orders placed on this site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to ONYC International shipping policies. Our system will automatically send you an update once your order status changes. This update includes your shipping update and tracking number once your order is shipped. It is your responsibility to track your order especially if your shipping option is “United States Postal Service,” as they may attempt delivery once and you must pick up at the local post office thereafter. Failure to do so may result in the item being returned to us; additional shipping fees will apply to reship.

Lost, Missing, or Misdelivered Packages

In the rare event that an order is lost, missing, misdelivered, or shown by the shipping carrier as delivered but cannot be located, the customer must promptly notify ONYC® Hair so that the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, a claim or investigation can be initiated with the shipping carrier and/or shipping insurance provider. Customers may be required to cooperate with the investigation, including confirming the shipping address, reviewing the carrier’s tracking information or delivery photograph, checking the delivery location and surrounding areas, checking with household members or nearby neighbors where appropriate, and providing any information or documentation reasonably required to investigate the shipment.

A package will not be considered confirmed lost solely based on a report of non-receipt. ONYC® Hair may first conduct or complete a carrier, delivery, and/or insurance investigation to determine whether the package was lost, misdelivered, delivered to an incorrect location, stolen after confirmed delivery, or otherwise unrecoverable. If an eligible claim is approved and the package is determined to be lost or otherwise unrecoverable, ONYC® Hair’s standard resolution is to replace the merchandise from the affected order rather than issue a refund to the original payment method.

The replacement will generally consist of the same merchandise originally purchased, subject to product availability. If the exact merchandise is unavailable, ONYC® Hair will contact the customer regarding an appropriate replacement or other available resolution. A lost-package claim is not considered a merchandise return because the customer is reporting that the merchandise was never received. Lost-package claims are therefore handled under ONYC® Hair’s Shipping and Insurance Policies rather than the standard Return/Exchange process.

Lost or missing packages should be reported within 14 days of the carrier’s expected delivery date or recorded delivery date, as applicable. Failure to report the issue within the required timeframe may affect our ability to initiate or successfully complete a carrier or insurance claim. This policy is subject to the applicable Shipping Policy, Insurance Policy, carrier investigation requirements, and any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. Please review our INSURANCE POLICY for additional information.

Return/ Exchange Policy

All sales made through the ONYC International Website are subject to the ONYC International return policy. ONYC International is a reputable hair extension company. We take so much pride and pay attention to the details of the product we ship to our customers. Everything package goes through a rigorous quality control process to make sure you are receiving the best quality product possible. All hair orders are thoroughly inspected before shipping. Our goal is to have satisfied returning customers hence have maintained over 98% positive feedback from our customers. We suggest that you request a sample where applicable before investing in the hair if you are not familiar with Our Hair. Also, note that returns due to a slight color variation will not be authorized. Please review our RETURN/EXCHANGE policy for a complete explanation of the return policy.

Return Fraud

We take ALL Return Fraud seriously. All incidents must be reported to authority to the fullest length of law. Return frauds include but are not limited to: returning a counterfeit product that is not the product ordered; purchasing merchandise for short-term use with the intent to return the item; purchasing higher-priced merchandise with the intention of returning the item(s) claiming the lower-priced item was received.

Product Defect/ Replacements

ONYC International takes great pride in our product; each package is a product of 100% FULL CUTICLE human hair, hence certifies and guarantees that. PLEASE NOTE: Thoroughly review your product including the weft before removing your label. You can also do a few strand tests on the weft to determine the integrity and quality of the hair prior to using it. Since this is natural hair, it will be reactive to the products used, how it’s installed, the environment, and the maintenance routine. Due to hygienic reasons, we will not accept any product without the label and packaging intact.

If you already installed the hair and feel you have received any product that is defective you must contact us within 14 calendar days from the date your item was received. We will also require you to submit corresponding details and evidence which includes images of the product in question, then we will require you to send us the product back—this means you will need to uninstall the extension. Waiting longer to install or uninstall the hair will make it void for any sort of review. If ONYC International verifies and agrees that the product is defective in any way, ONYC International will then exchange or replace the item. Please NOTE that you will be responsible for paying costs associated with returning the ONYC product(s) if we do not validate the product defect issue. If the customer selects a product in exchange for greater value, they will be responsible for paying the additional cost of the item.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

By using ONYC International, you expressly agree that the use of the International website is at your sole risk. ONYC International website is provided on an “AS IS” and “as available” basis. Neither ONYC International, affiliates, subsidiaries, or designees nor each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, third-party content providers, designers, contractors, distributors, merchants, or the like (collectively, “Associates”) warrant that use of the ONYC International Website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Neither ONYC International nor its Associates warrant the accuracy, integrity, or completeness of the content provided on the ONYC International Website or the products or services offered for sale on the ONYC International Website. The foregoing Limitation of Liability shall apply in any action, whether in contract, tort, or any other claim, even if an authorized representative of ONYC International has been advised of or should have known of the possibility of such damages. The customer agrees that for any liability related to the purchase of services not bundled with products under this agreement, ONYC International is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by the customer for the purchase of services under this agreement.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ONYC International harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of the Sites and/or your breach of any representation, warranty, or other provision of the Agreement.

Dispute Resolution

Mindful of the high cost of litigation, not only in dollars but also in time and energy, both you and ONYC International agree to the following dispute resolution procedure: In the event of any controversy, claim, action, or dispute arising out of or related to any transaction conducted on the Sites, or the breach, enforcement, interpretation, or validity of this Agreement or any part of it (“Dispute”), the party asserting the Dispute shall first try in good faith to settle such dispute by providing written notice to the other party describing the facts and circumstances (including any relevant documentation) of the Dispute and allowing the receiving party 30 days in which to respond to or settle the Dispute. Both you and ONYC International agree that this dispute resolution procedure is a condition precedent that must be satisfied prior to initiating any litigation or filing any claim against the other party.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms & Conditions. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any policies, notices, disclaimers, and operating rules posted by ONYC International on the Website or referenced by hyperlink, constitute the entire agreement between you and ONYC International regarding your use of the Website and purchase of products or services from ONYC International. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any separate agreements whereby ONYC International provides products or services to you shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
