What is the difference between Luxury Ultima™ and Sassy Remy™ Collection?

Luxury Ultima™ is our Full Cuticle Hair Collection.  It has all cuticles intact and one bundle is usually from one donor.

Sassy Remy™ Collection is our budget-friendly hair, it is sourced from multiple donors.  The Silky Straight Virgin Remy has all the Cuticles intact and other textures might have the Cuticle Slightly altered due to the fact that the textures are chemically processed.  This involves going into the cuticle of the hair so we cannot call it full cuticle hair.

Why doesn't ONYC® offer the Relaxed Perm, Kinky Straight or Kinky Curly in Sassy Remy™ Collection?

Oh, we wish we can do that!  Because of the complexity and technique applied in the production of these textures, we only use FULL Cuticle Human Hair.

You have to be aware of the fact that all our hair is made from 100% virgin hair, the only process we do is add the curl/ texture and color.  Virgin hair exhibits certain characteristics: some will be silkier, some will hold curls better, some have the thicker diameter.  All these will affect the result of the hair after we process the color and curl.  This makes it very difficult to achieve uniformity with these textures.

Also, textured hair requires a higher maintenance routine, so it is better to produce them with the BEST hair possible.

Why doesn't ONYC® offer Sassy Remy™ Collection in Colored version?

Hair coloring involves breaking hair cuticle so it can actually be dyed to the desired color.  This can be drying on the hair, which contributes to the damage of the hair.  It is better to apply hair color on hair with full cuticle intact.

You have to be aware of the fact that all our hair is made from 100% virgin hair, the only process we do is add the color.  Virgin hair exhibits certain characteristics: some will take color better, some have the thicker diameter.  All these will affect the result of the hair after we process the color.  This makes it very difficult to achieve a uniform color in a bundle hence it is sourced from multiple donors!

Can you use heat or color on Sassy Remy™ Hair?

Yes, while Sassy Remy™ is not Full Cuticle Hair like our Luxury Ultima Hair, it is still 100% Virgin Remy human hair and can withstand heat.  Always be sure to use a heat protector product before applying direct heat.

You can color Sassy Remy™ Natural black color, however, the extent of coloring and/or chemical process depends on the product. We generally recommend a deposit color (going darker) on this hair but some customers have used a lifting color (going lighter) on it and had no issue with it. We recommend doing any chemical process professionally. Generally, it is advised to make any major color changes before installment. This is because the hair might have a slightly different texture or porosity compared to your natural hair.

What type of products are best for the hair's longevity?

As with all 100% Human Hair, the #1 recommendation for longevity is to “love it like your own”.  The ingredients to look for in products are those that are sulfate free, high in moisture and manageability.  For straight hair – heat protection is recommended before applying direct heat.  For Wavy/Curly hair – your favorite non-alcohol products for wavy/curly hair is recommended.

How long can it be installed and how many installations can I do?

As with any installation, the duration recommendation is not to exceed 3 months.  With proper care, maintenance and professional take-out so that the weft/closures are not damaged, customers have had numerous installs.  Some customers have even customized wigs that resulted in more longevity.

How should I care for the hair? Brushing, Washing?

Like It’s Your Own!

* Washing – once a week minimum co-wash depending on your elements.  Once a month clarifying shampoo and deep conditioning.

* Brushing  – The Ultimate Detangler Brush (Good for All hair types.) is ideal for daily brushing while maintaining the hair’s natural state.  While the Lopper Paddle Brush (Recommended for Wavy textures.) is ideal for creating more volume along with manageability.

What is the difference between the Sassy Remy™ frontal closure and the Luxury Ultima™ Collection?

The SASSY REMY™ might appear silkier initially but it’ll gain more texture after a couple of washes. It stands as a budget friendly alternative compared to our Cuticle Hair. Be rest assured that we maintain our quality standard- CREDIBILITY, INTEGRITY and CONSISTENCY all the way. Products on our SASSY REMY™ collections can be reused several times and still retain its texture.

Can I color Sassy Remy™ Closures?

We recommend getting any coloring professional done!

Our Sassy Remy™ collections already come processed with texture and color. We strongly recommend deposit colors ONLY (this means going darker than the original color but not lighter).

Generally, it is advised to make any major color changes before installment. This is because the hair might have a slightly different texture or porosity compared to the weft hair. Also, it is quite difficult to completely watch off the residue from the color process on installed closure. You DO NOT want the chemical residue on your scalp which can cause serious scalp injury which includes hair loss.

We use an automated system to pull out whatever address you entered in creating your label. We are not responsible nor liable for “Undeliverable address”

We will strongly recommend using UPS if you think your address is somewhat complicated as opposed to USPS. It is NOT possible to amend the USPS address once shipped so they will NOT try to redeliver your package if there is even a slight error with your address.


1) Please note that it is 100% your responsibility to track your order!  We do our best as a company to ship your order in a timely manner including providing you with a tracking number.

5) If your order is unclaimed and returned to us, there is an additional shipping fee plus a 15% Restocking Fee. Ensure that you input the correct address; make sure to review your shipping address to avoid having an undeliverable address.


1) We will strongly recommend adding insurance to your package! This ensures if your package is lost, damaged on arrival, or stolen a claim can be filed.

2) Selecting the signature option does not protect your shipment from being lost, damaged, or stolen. If you need the shipment protected, you must select “Add Insurance*

3) If your item is lost or damaged, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY and we will file the insurance claim for you. We will file a claim on your behalf and contact you if any further documents are required.

Important Notes:

1) You must exercise patience when it comes to lost items! This will give the insurance company ample amount of time to thoroughly investigate your claim. We are not affiliated with the Insurance company, we are only helping you file the claim with them.

2) Replacements will ONLY be shipped pending a thorough investigation. Replacements are only valid on orders that are confirmed to be lost or damaged. This process can vary between fourteen (14) days or up to two (2) months depending on the shipping carrier of your item. You will need to place another order if you cannot wait that long. We will reship you the original transaction once we receive the reimbursement from the insurance company or receive the missing shipment back.

3) Claims for the Damage item must be submitted within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your package. We must receive supporting evidence like proof of the damaged item (clear picture) before we can file a claim. Most of our shipments require a signature, If the shipping package is damaged, we will recommend refusing the package.

3) Claims for a lost package are eligible for submission depending on the carrier.

Please Note the Claim eligibility based on the carrier:

UPS – 1 to 7 days after the expected delivery date, once the package has been confirmed as delivered or lost.
USPS – 30 days after the shipment date.

4) We strongly advise you to keep Damaged items in the exact condition you received them.

Texture Display

Due to the fact that ONYC International offers 100% virgin cuticle human hair which is real hair from a real donor, each pouch comes from a separate donor we cannot guarantee exact hair texture. Even with our processed Mongolian line, the only process done on it is to change the curl pattern. This means that the hair will maintain its natural characteristics, some hair comes naturally silkier, coarser, dull, shinier, thicker, or thinner in diameter. Each characteristic affects the way the hair behaves/reacts to weather and product. This is the dynamic of virgin hair and is beyond our control. Depending on the batch you receive, you will consult your professional stylist and adapt to the maintenance routine for that type of hair.

We have tried our best to categorize the texture based on the curl pattern, the image provided are guidelines only and not a direct literal one. We cannot guarantee a course, silkier, or curlier batch. A slight texture variation will not be a reason to request an exchange.

Return Fraud

Product Defect/ Replacements

ONYC International takes great pride in our product, each package is a product of 100% FULL CUTICLE human hair, hence certifies and guarantees that.

PLEASE NOTE: Thoroughly review your product including the weft before removing your label. You can also do a few strand tests on the weft to determine the integrity and quality of the hair prior to using it. Since this is natural hair, it will be reactive to the products used, how it’s installed, the environment, and the maintenance routine.

Due to hygienic reasons, we will not accept any product without the label and packaging intact.

However, if you already installed the hair and feel you have received any product that is defective you must contact us within 14 calendar days from the date your item was received. We will also require you to submit corresponding details and evidence which includes images of the product in question, then we will require you to send us the product back, this means you will need to uninstall the extension.

Please note that waiting longer to install or uninstall the hair will make it void for any sort of review, we simply cannot accept the product at that time.

If ONYC International verifies and agrees that the product is defective in any way, ONYC International will then exchange or replace the item.

Please NOTE that you will be responsible for paying costs associated with returning the ONYC product(s) if we do not validate the product defect issue.

If the customer selects a product in exchange for greater value, they will be responsible for paying the additional cost of the item.

Lost item/Insurance

Dispute Resolution

Please Note: UPS automatically award $100 for uninsured item and US Postal service award $50. This means if your item is lost or damaged, you will ONLY be eligible for $50 or $100.

  •  The Dark Natural Black is similar to Off Black 1B. This is darker than the regular Natural Black (modeled pictures).
  • Please do not try to color this hair a lighter color. However, you can easily go darker (Say Jet Black or Midnight Blue).
  • Though with limited options, you can explore the already Colored Weave Bundles if you are looking for lighter colors…
Shipping Insurance



1) Once sold out, we will not be restocking the Closures until further notice!

2) The impact of COVID has forced some of our partners overseas to temporarily close. Coupled with the scarcity of finding experienced technicians that can produce our gradual density closures.

3) We strongly advise you to stock up on whatever you are able to order at this time!

4) Make sure to SUBSCRIBE to the Mailing list to be notified once we commence the Closure Production.  You can also add the product of Interest to a waitlist. 


Shipping Insurance



1) Once sold out, we will ONLY be restocking the color #4 and natural Black of most items. We will also not be restocking 24 and 26” lengths.

We strongly advise you to stock up on whatever color you are able to order at this time!

2) Color #27 and 4/27 are discontinued in the following textures: Curly Addiction, Kinky 3B-3B, and Tight Kinky 3C-4A. It is almost impossible for us to achieve these colors on these textures without compromising hair integrity. 

They are still available in Straight and Wavy Textures!

3) This decision is because of the impact from COVID coupled with the scarcity and high cost of raw material and finally but not least, the COMPLEXITY of producing the PERFECT curls you all love and in colored options.

4) However, we know that some of our loyal customers are used to certain colors and lengths. Because of this, we will be having an option for you guys to order certain colors as well as length 24” and 26” as a Custom order!

5) If you are an existing customer that wishes to place a custom order before the official launch, please email support@onychair.com. Make sure to send full details of your item of interest.

Signature Confirmation

Add Signature to Shipping*

Selecting the “Add Signature*” option, will authorize the Shipping Carrier to ONLY deliver your package with the signature required option. This means if no one is around, your package will not be delivered.

Important Notes:

1) Selecting the signature option does not protect your shipment from lost, damaged, or stolen. If you need the shipment protected, you must select the “Add Insurance*”

2) Delivering Your Package:

  • We strongly encourage you to track your package to know the updated status. As stated in our shipping terms, it is each customer’s responsibility to track the order. Failure to do so will warrant the item to be returned to us. In that case, we will charge you an additional shipping fee for the return, we will also charge you a shipping fee to reship your item plus a Restocking fee may apply.
  • If you selected US Postal service and miss the first delivery attempt, they will NOT try to redeliver your package. You MUST go to your local post office to pick up your package! If you do not know your local post office, feel free to call 1-800-ASK-USPS for assistance.
  • You can easily view your Order History Here. Please ensure to open the actual order in question to view the tracking number or other important notes associated with that order.
